Filling IUCLID without the REST API.

The usual answer, and why it stalls

The textbook way to automate IUCLID is its REST API. In practice that means enabling the API, configuring the server, creating a service account, opening a network route to the dossier repository, and running an IT project for each installation. On IUCLID Cloud it only works where the API is exposed and reachable. Most regulatory teams never get past the first meeting.

Driving the page, not the server

Dossier Flow never connects to your IUCLID. It has no address for it, no account on it and no route to it. A browser extension works inside the IUCLID tab you opened and logged into yourself, and fills the form the way a person would, keyed on IUCLID's own stable field anchors.

• Works on IUCLID Cloud, on a server behind your firewall and on a local installation
• Your IUCLID address, username, password and session never leave your machine
• No server install, no middleware, no firewall rule, no VPN
• No blanket host permission: the extension knows your Dossier Flow service and the IUCLID address you allow once

It can add to your dossier. It cannot take anything out of it.

The extension only executes plans a person approved, and the whole vocabulary of a plan is: open a tab, create a study record, create a data source reference, fill a field, add a repeatable block entry, and save. There is no delete and no clear operation, so no plan can ask for one.

• Before writing, it checks that the record on screen is the one the plan targets. A wrong substance stops the run
• An existing record is reopened, not duplicated, and only the fields named in the plan are written
• Every field is reported back as written, skipped or missed, so gaps show up in your queue and not at submission

What you keep if you stop

Ordinary IUCLID records in your own dossier, indistinguishable from ones typed by hand. No wrapper, no export format, nothing that stops working if you stop subscribing. Supported today: IUCLID 6, version 10.0.0. New IUCLID releases are handled as a version pack on our side, not as software you reinstall.
